You have been my saving grace in my lowest of times. Loosing my entire career due to an aneurysm and starting to think of suicide and then I found your show. It truly pulled me up from my bootstraps. I began watching and learning, Thank You... Anytime I feel worthless, I paint. And its because of you. Thank You

I discovered you on Create during the pandemic and had been doing a little painting while missing going to the beach, and on a drive, we took a picture of an old deserted church that I wanted to paint but really had no idea how to start. Then what came in your show, which I am DVRing, it was Ageless Beauty and watched #5(could hardly wait for the next episode) today and I am ready to give it a try. I hope to send you a picture when finished. You show has been such a blessing and God Bless. We are in Virginia and a big storm is coming, great time to paint and can't wait to see what you paint next.🙏

Hi! This is my first time visiting your site. It’s very informative. I found many products and information to inspire me to begin painting again. I haven’t painted artistically since High School. I received a Boston Globe Scholastic Art award many years ago. It was very satisfying to accomplish a painting that was admired by others. I hope to begin painting again soon.
I enjoy and look forward to viewing your programs.
Thank you for providing encouragement and inspiration. — Darlene

Jerry, I've been watching you on local PBS/Create channel here in southern MS for about six months, Mondays and Fridays, and appreciate your careful instructions for getting effects you're looking for. This morning's episode was 2902 so I don't know how far that lags behind today's date, 20july2020. You commented that many writers question how messy your work looks on its first or second thirty minute show, especially if you're planning to complete on a third show. This is the nature of painting, starting with something, getting the image in order with shades, colors, organization, then pausing to examine it, then going at it again. It is nothing you should sound apologetic about--it is the nature of the beast of painting. We only see 30mins at a time, and good paintings--especially when your showing us relatively slowly how to progress--take a while, basically it's done when it's done, and to get there, things MAY look confused, unfinished, but heck it's unfinished! Golly. Just keep letting folks know you've got a plan, you're going through the steps to complete the plan. If they were all painters, they'd know this is how you get from the start, through the middle, to the end. Thanks.

Hello there. I've always careful any how much water to use for painting. In your fine TV show, I noticed you use quite a bit of water and I'm wondering how you do that without clots fading on you overtime?

Thank You for your patient ways of sharing your knowledge of painting! I feel like I’ve learned so much from you! I also was looking for a dvd of a recent covered bridge show that you did. It was accidentally erased from my dvr and I wanted to watch what I missed, and maybe attempt to try a similar scene, as my mom and I loved all the covered bridges in Vermont! She grew up in Vermont, and lived on one of only two round barn farms in Vermont at that time! I tried to send a picture of it to you. It was taken by a magazine called Vermont Life in 1949 of course black and white but I would love to bring it back to life with color! I don’t think it went thru so I put it on Pinterest under round barn farms.

First thanks for being a brother in Christ!
I’ve watched for years on PBS. I’m an old-soul, who bravely dove into home projects, cooking, videography, etc with inspiration from PBS.
I’d love to try painting but strangely I’m not as brave. Prayerfully an energetic, patient, fun- loving coach will come my way. Meanwhile I’ll find my way with the Lord’s help.
Thanks for staying humble and grounded!
