Jerry was the best artist teacher i have seen. Able to explain things in a way you could understand and his paintings were always so beautiful. I don’t get his weekly tv shows anymore and miss them.

Hi Jerry, l am a special needs adult and artist. I've been painting for about 16 years, learning at an adult art program for disabled adults. Our instructor felt I had progressed enough she gave me the opportunity to teach a few of our participants. Though I am not a professional artist or teacher I found it very rewarding. We both watch your show. I've completed several of your instructional paintings. I have trouble finding reference material since I don't drive or travel. Maybe you have some ideas. Thank you and can't wait to see your future paintings.

Hi Jerry, I am a 77 year old great grandmother who has loved painting since my teens. I’ve never had any training, and as I got older I picked up what I do know from books and tv.. I really enjoy watching your program. You recently had a series “ Beside still waters”…that I loved.. I tried to keep up with you but with oils. Mine doesn’t compare to yours, but I loved painting it. God has blessed you with a wonderful talent.

Hello, Jerry. I enjoy all your programs on PBS. You are the best! Your instruction and your personality make the lessons informative and enjoyable. My husband and I usually watch together. I have been painting for years, beginning with acrylic, then china painting, and now back to acrylic which I enjoy very much. I have several of your books and find them helpful also. I am trying to incorporate some of your techniques. Your paintings are beautiful! Thank you very much!

Hi Jerry,
Aspiring artist here! I have been watching you for some time now! Honestly, I can not remember when I started! I have many favorite artists and some of my most favorite has died! Bob Ross, Helen Van Wyck, Wilson Bickford are among the most notable TV personalities! Each of these artists taught me valuable lessons and while different in many ways they all contributed to my learning process!
Currently, in my opinion, you are the best! Your careful, detailed and explanatory approach makes it easy understand and appreciate the process of producing fine artwork! I hope at some time I get the exposure of a personal learning encounter with you before either one of us dies! Morbid, well, not really; realistic😳! Watching your show gives me a lot but an in class experience is something else even if not a better learning experience! At any rate, I appreciate your instructions on Create and think you are the best! May you live long and make many more shows!Hope to meet you some time in the future!👍🌹😌👍

Excited to say I finally have my back yard studio finished and moving in. I sure have missed your open classes since moving to Granbury TX. I haven't painted since we moved but will be painting again with your online school. Thank you for all you taught me. God bless you and Donna.

It’s been an honor and a privilege to meet Jerry and Miss Donna, and of course, all the many wonderful people, artist, and students, I have met along the way. To experience the talent and witness all of the works of art, the workshops and classes that have made me a better painter. I’m looking forward to returning to Jerry’s and be in the presence of such talent and greatness.
I was watching your show when it was on PBS many years ago I could see if than which I can't anymore since we in Montreal haven't the same PBS anymore, I also taped your shows and learned a lot from them. You where my inspiration that I put the first brush in my hand, I still pant today, Thank you Jerry.

I really enjoy your TV programs and have one of your instruction books on painting with acrylics. Quick question: when you set up your palette box with the glass and damp paper towels, is there very much paint loss through absorption by the wet paper towels ? Thank you and God bless!
