Hello Jerry and friends, Im a 71-year-old beginner who always felt that only those with a gift for fine art painting could paint so I never tried it. One day after retired, I decided to give it a try, but life always seemed to get in the way and it didnt go anywhere. Well, I;m trying acrylic when I read your recommendation that seniors should try this medium. The timing was perfect, last week was my birthday and I ordered the paints, brushes, and joined your online school. I have to tell you, Im so excited and Im having so much fun, I know that I will always be a beginner and I no longer expect the museums to be knocking at my door just like I;m no longer waiting for the PGA green jacket, but I find painting very relaxing.
