As an artist, Jerry says you always come back to the things you like the best or those that bring you the most comfort. For him, seems this means something tied to a Western, landscape, or wildlife setting. This new painting captures the late-summer heat here in the beautiful Osage Hills of Oklahoma and how the cattle and livestock get in water up to their chests to cool off… hence: “Taking a Dip.” A great piece with lots of learning opportunities given the cattle, water, sky, distant hills, barn, grasses, mud, pebbles, and more. You’ll not want to hesitant getting started on this one!
